Canadian Plant Health Council

Our mission is to advance collaborative action to safeguard Canada's plant resources against pests, diseases, and other emerging threats. We help protect forests, agricultural crops and ecosystems through education and coordination across the broader plant health community.

About

Dedicated to Plant Health

The Canadian Plant Health Council (CPHC) is committed to enhancing the protection of Canada’s diverse plant resources by bringing together plant health partners. We work collaboratively to help mitigate risks associated with pests and diseases that threaten forests and crops, fostering healthy and resilient ecosystems.

Since its establishment in October 2018, the CPHC has played a unifying role for organizations involved in plant health, aligning efforts with the Plant and Animal Health Strategy for Canada. Our focus is on shared education, proactive measures and coordinated action to strengthen Canada’s collective efforts to support plant health.
